If it's in line with the feel of SG1 & Atlantis, I'll certainly give it a go. If it's more like Universe . . . maybe, maybe not. Afraid I was never able to get into Universe. It was just too far away from what I liked so much about the first two series.

*Replicators, loved them, always thought they were copied off the Matt Leblanc Lost in Space though* 😂 🤟🏽🤙🏽🤟🏽 It's amazin when it's not quite a villain, but some form of tech vs the heroes, how do you defeat an enemy with one clear aim and no biological conscience, no heart, pure code/logic. It's the closest thing we had to Trek's Borg. Milky Way replicators striked more dread into me with their mechanical spider lookin nature, with no emotion... the Atlantis ones were the jealous siblings, a bit emotionally driven.

I started to watch sg1 in 2001 when I was ten years old and sg1 and star wars was my first steps in a much larger galaxy. It was when I first started to be a scifi nerd/geek. When I was a kid I was a closet sci-fi geek nerd because I was worried about being judged and possibly bullied but now that I'm an adult I wish that I could go back and tell my kid self don't worry about it that it will help to find out who should be around.

I am playing a paladin rpg game and our Dm introduced different sci fi for us (Babylon 5 and Stargate). I came across an Interstellar aurora ship and an outpost with a lab .Needless to say I kept the tech to myself and refused access to the technology to my Insane teammates. With Great power comes great responsibility as the saying goes. The game is going great and we are having lots of fun with it . Thanks for all your hard work creating Stargate and giving us all these info bits .Wish us luck surviving (drone power is awesome!!)

The Replicators aren't complete without their eerie mechanical sound effects. What's worse, hearing one slowly moving above you, or hearing hundreds quickly closing in from all around? The answer, knowing the first will always lead to the second.

There are plenty of ways to respect the existing lore while being completely new, they could have the city ship return with a new cast, they could have a new earth ship in a new galaxy after a failed wormhole drive experiment, they could look to the past and check out the tollans, they could explore the furlings. There’s plenty that can be done.

Hands down, the Atlantis ones allways looked the best to me personally

S6.E3 - Children of Phonecleaners :) Since Stargate allready had different Other Guy Episodes this one would be great as well, I always loved the other viewpoint.

Replicators were terrifying, so I'd say they did a pretty good job. 😂

I honestly started to like this show better than SG1. I wish we had more seasons or movies.

The visual of the Replicators was amazing. The creepy factor of the sound effects really added to the scenes. Thanks for sharing this interview!

Reboots in my most humble opinion are dumb, I think you can recast, move forward move backwards, but to just throw out stories,plots,cliffhangers and just start new is a very bad mistake, it can only work a a hand full of situations. I didn’t like the soft reboot of Star Trek , some of the stuff was done well, some was done badly, but overall would had been better to just recast and try to move forward. The reboot of galatica was also a mistake, would had been better to see a new show either battlestar related or just new own stuff, once again some of what they did was good, but overall reboots just don’t work for newer audiences to the properties. One way a reboot would work is years and years down the line.

There was never enough aliens in stargate Atlantis. That season doesn't sound like it's amusing different... I am pissed as it is that we never got more about pegasus asgaard. I would be even more pissed if they never got anytime in a 6th season...

Way too many 'surprise! this character is actually still alive!' moments for me, though I'm sure they wouldn't have used all of them.

I'm hoping the 3 series bluray set drops in price one of these days.... I'd really like to own that so I can upscale it to 4k and give it all a re-watch. I already have all the movies, I just don't think the TV series bluray set is worth the current $169 price tag. But sooner or later I'm gonna own it. I really liked SG1 and Atlantis, I wouldn't mind a reboot of either. Cheers 🍻

I like some of these episodes, but there's too many "you thought x was dead, but they're back and (mostly) looking for revenge!" I feel like instead of having two previous nemeses come back for revenge (it was two, right? I already lost count), they could drop one. Probably Kolya, I have a hard time believing he could survive that shot to the chest. Instead, I would've liked to see a character piece for the Carson clone where he is wrestling with whether he is truly Carson Beckett returned and thus he should pick up where Carson left off, or does he forge his own path. Perhaps, if he goes that route, even taking a new name in the end.

Thanks for this SGA update. I miss the days when a season was 20-24 episodes. Feels like 8 episode seasons are rushed to tell a good story these days.

I'm just now finally watching SGU for the first time since it's on Prime now. I can't wait for the new SG show to come out!

I wouldn't like a reboot of any kind. If you were to make a new show, set now, make a new bad guy. A new situation. Maybe even a new Galaxy where humans have colonized. You could put in some gentle nods to the past and those characters. That way you're acknowledging what happened before and only OG SG fans would know it. Otherwise, I don't trust anyone to do a reboot.

Great ideas but the season 6 finale wouldn't be a bit hard considering the stargate said they stripped the crumbling sister city of all puddle jumpers and weapons. And that it was almost completely crumbled down. Coulier wouldn't be able to use it.

The OG ending of season 10 is the best ending for me
